I have had it. Watch this app go from good to bad. Same 30 sec ads for videos. Have to watch them. Sick and tired of scrolling to navigate. Ads everywhere. Will not be using app anymore. Goodbye WCVB

Im done with this app! They finally got rid of their 30 second station promotion ads that were required viewing before any video clip, now in order to watch a clip about something positive, you have to suffer through a 30 second prostate cancer video. Come on Channel 5, I thought you guys were better than this nonsense. Find a better way to sneak in advertisements!

This is my fav news station and used to be my fav news app. I can NOT tolerate all the pop up ads/videos from which you can never seem to get back to the screen you were looking at. Also has too many video stories. At work, out and about, cannot watch videos and would like to just have the print story. Very close to deleting this app.

All I want to do is read a news article - not have a video suddenly launch at top volume. Horrible.

Some of the categories have vanished. I loved looking through the health section and now its gone. Feed is sorted poorly. The old design was so much more functional and easy to get around. And enough with the ads.

I see I am not alone. Getting news in a timely manner is more important than ever! Having to suffer through an ad to see breaking news seems to be counterintuitive to the immediacy that "Breaking News" implies. If you deem it okay to put an ad first, then dont overemphasize its importance.

I really LOVE the new design of this app. But there are way too many ads!! When you get a notification of breaking news instead of going right to the breaking news you have to wait and watch a commercial first!!!! NOT good!!!! I know the commercials help pay the bills but gee!!!!!

I absolutely can't stand the new app. I imagine some marketing person and app developer got together thought it'd be great to turn the easy to use news app into sometuhing resembling a low budget, glitchy Instagram or Twitter. It was way better before the update.

I wrote out a whole review only to have it discarded because my nickname was already in use. Are you kidding? You cant have it look up the nickname BEFORE they type out an entire review? Watching a 30 second commercial so I can watch a 15 second video is ridiculous. "Breaking news" alerts usually have no content on the site. Slideshows are infuriating. Just show a list!

This app should work much better. Weather should have a text option if you cant watch a video after receiving an alert.

Very disappointed with the app. Not only do you have to sit through News Center 5 commercials before the video comes on, if you go to sports for local teams, forget it. All national stories! I just want to know the Red Sox score from last night. Shouldnt that story be first in line before an Olympic story or that Kate Upton got engaged to a pitcher from another team? Who cares! Also, the format and navigating through it is terrible. Keep it simple.

Video crashes often and some just dont play. The ads always play.. Hmm Doesnt that figure.

The only time I use this app now is to see whats n chronicle.should of left it alone

Has some decent news updates, but a lot of less-than-newsworthy items. News stories often show up more than once in the same listing. Far too many ads.

I look forward to viewing the current news when I open my computer
